I was intrigued at the start.. but the last few pages just turned this into a shit post.

I actually agree with you, but I'm partially indifferent. I'm not going to sit here and question what people do, how they choose to dress or not dress, whether they want to cake their face or minimally cover their flaws or enhance their beauty. In this day an age people are too fake anyways to want to care about what their doing with their bodies.

That's different for men, considering men mate with women. Therefore they want women that have make up, and/or are fashionable. So these men are at fault for wanting or liking women in that form? I don't see you judging the men. A lot of men like their women to especially dress that way, and will fork out enough to make her look a specific way. The reason for that is western society is too sexualised.

Personally make up to me is not that big of an issue compared to say plastic surgery.

Also one other thing I picked up on is, when you said your wife doesn't wear high-heels, and later said she has traits of a real women, and hates feminists. I'm not sure if I'm just confusing that (maybe you mean her natural and survival instincts are her apparently being a real women), but I naturally wear heels, as flats are uncomfortable for me. Does that mean I don't have traits of a real women, and I'm feminist because I appreciate heels?

I personally dislike feminists considering they argue for equality, but are not being equally accepting to males.

Also what about non-westernised countries where make up and fashionable products are not so much a norm, Afghanistan, a lot of women can feel oppressed because if they were to dress a specific way it wouldn't go down well. Now religious views aside, can we compare westernised women who appreciate wearing what they want how they want, as opposed to non-westernised women who do appreciate (remember not all are oppressed) not wearing make up, dressing up etc.

Do you appreciate those non-westernised ideology of having women who only dress for their husband?

I don't think I said men care for women's fashion. Only stated that majority of men like women to look nice and fashionable. I don't see how that correlates. Again I don't see you judging those men who like their women to wear make up, be fashionable and are happy to pay for their women to look a specific way.

Not all men are like yourself who are appreciative of women who don't need or don't want or simply don't wear make up and have any necessity to wear heels etc.

The concept "normal footwear" and your definition of this is clearly different to mine. Normal footwear to me is those with heels. Now I don't mean stilettos. You do realise their are inventions of trainer type wedged heeled footwear. Marginally comfy and exceptionally easy to run and walk in. Now how does that diminish any prospects of me having offspring?

Like I said above, I did agree with you. Make up can be used to be very manipulative and deceiving. And as many things in this world, it is a further ploy of a money making industry. However it is also true that not all women wear makeup simply to be deceiving in hopes of mating. A lot of women do just wear make up to enhance their natural beauty.

The idea of the make up industry being a ploy to make money, reminds me of the advertisements where you see a continuous addition of new Mascara (eye make up) which actually presents no real reason to obtain considering the countless amounts of brands and types of Mascara that are already in existence.
