I get this problem on my work pc but at home i do not. Not sure what the cause is. \: Possibly due to the graphics card? My work pc is rubbish haha, but my home pc has a good graphics card and doesnt flicker in chrome

Have you tried resetting Chrome flags? chrome://flags/
Make sure #ignore-gpu-blacklist is disabled and #disable-accelerated-2d-canvas is enabled.

Try to disable hardware acceleration. If you see good results, it's a graphics driver issue. Just update the driver and you should be good to go. Alternatively you could try Chromium to see if you get the same problem. It's the exact same as Chrome (it's just the open source project that Chrome is based off of, so it's like Chrome without the Google labelling). Otherwise Firefox is fine, and if you're OK with no adblock, I'd recommend Edge as well.
