Penguins banned for ip match

Hello I was just recently banned for having a matching ip address as jman 1208. I have known him for years now? I was on his account and alerted him he had been banned due to the obvious location differences. He has full access to his account and im not sure why he has not recovered it yet. I can have him log on right now. I have never used a VPN either this is my home network. So please let me know what i can do?
