[CDT] Monthly Graphics Challenge [Lots of prizes!] [New point system]

This month's theme is: Computers





How to enter, and what type of graphics do you accept?

All entries must be PM'd to the SOTM account (we will be creating a new account shortly)
There will be a new graphics challenge every month, with the broad theme being picked by the previous month's winner.
Entry process will run from the 1st to the 15th of every month with the voting process starting on the last week of the month.
All entries must abide by Sythe.org's signature rules (Maximum of 350 pixels in height including all quotes/text/pictures in it and a maximum of 650 pixels in width with all text/quotes/pictures. Additionally, images in your signature may not exceed a file size of 2.5 megabytes.)
The graphics challenge will encompass anything of artistic nature. Good at tags? Great. Are you a fan of toast art? Awesome. Animated signatures? Cool! Good at ASCII drawings? Make a piece, upload it, and submit it to us!

Rules:

If you are submitting an IRL piece you must include two copies, one with your Sythe name on a piece of paper, and one without for voting purposes.
No premades
Anyone submitting someone else's work will be banned as per the plagiarism rule
Troll designs are not permitted
You cannot include your name in the artwork (Except for IRL submissions PM'd to SOTM), or anything that would distinguish you from other artists
Any entry that doesn't match the theme of the month will not be considered.




Prizes:

Winner minirank: (Provided to the winner of any monthly graphics challenge)


There will be a new point system added this year.
Everyone who participates in a Monthly Graphics Challenge will receive 1 point for that month.
The winner of the Monthly Graphics Challenge will receive 2 points for that month.



Points can be used as follows:
4 points can be used to trade in for a Sythe.org Prizebox!
6 points can be used to trade in for a minirank of your choice (excluding certain minis not obtainable by other means)
At the end of the year, whoever has the most points will win a Competition Winner Fun Rank (or a different fun rank if you previously own competition winner, excluding exclusive ranks like staff ranks, highly trusted, etc)

Points do not transfer over year to year and are not transferable from person to person

Nope! once you spend points they're gone.

And its 1 submission? just curious. also the tags system should be added to and continued if people appreciate it

I was having imagination block (writers block), thinking I have no idea for what to do with computers, but then it came to me. Hoping I can actually do my imaginative spirit and mind proud ..if I can get it on paper accurately leggo.

Hey Sonia. Yeah I added tags from your suggestion on the CDT feedback thread.


The group has actually came up with another way so we don't need to be updating lists ect. Because we have our cdt events thread which we will be updating whenever there is a new event. We will just have people "watch" that thread.


This let's then unsubscribe easily without our help.

 

It doesn't say anywhere one submission.

 

My bad, i had just assumed it's one for various reasons aswell as me thinking sotm was 1 submission per person only. I could be wrong.

People can only have one submission. Assumed that was obvious as its never came up. If you make more than one submission and want to get opinions on which is best message the sotm account and we can help you out
