So apparently Viewerbots are the recommended way to pick a twitch channel up off the ground...

And there's tons of websites vouching these bots. if I were to actually try one for the sake of getting my twitch channel out of the pile of thousands of channels with 0-5 viewers, which ones are trusted/well priced? It seems like there's an extreme swing between it being $20, or $80. I would like some background information on the legitimate ones from those who are more experienced than myself. Thanks.

 

I know pretty much nothing about Twitch and bots, but from a logistics perspective the coding for something like that and creating an account net would be pretty tedious. If anyone is charging $20 for a tool like that, it's likely poor quality. I'm not saying that all higher priced bots are best, but nobody is going to sell something good for $20, know what I mean?

 

Going off blupig, you may also want to stay away from cheap viewbots as viewbots are a bannable offence on Twitch(if caught), I would look for a high quality viewbot (depending on your budget)

 

Get caught with one though and it'll destroy any chance of having a successful go on Twitch under that specific alias. As much as it is probably a way of getting a channel swinging it's definitely frowned upon by the Twitch community as well as bannable as stated above.

Then again, YouTube is heading down the same route as well.

 

Viewbots are easy to spot usually because you can tell when the chat isn't active at all and Chloe summed it up because it's true that your chance of going big is gone when you get caught

 

maybe add in your title " someone is view botting me" so they don't think it's I, seen a few ppl with those titles. No idea what a good one is tho sorry man

 

I'd agree with Blupig, you wouldn't get a good program for 20$, like top of quality if you know what I mean..

 

The only way you can get banned for viewbotting is if they see the viewbotting software on your computer, otherwise they can't prove it is you. This is why Emily gets away with viewbotting on Runescape because there is a small chance it might not be her, and just somebody trying to get her banned. While I don't personally agree with viewbotting it does seem that to get noticed on twitch it is almost a must when starting out.

 

your best bet would probably be to post on forums like this that you are live streaming and if you are good and entertaining (enough to make it big like your plan is), then people will follow and watch again. Over time you'll accumulate enough viewers to get above the few thousand below 5-10 viewers and build from there..

 

90% of streams on twitch are botted in some way or another.
