Need help with PAYPAL NEGATIVE

So, i sold some 07 GP for around 400$. Next thing i know. My paypal went negativ -400$. I had my CC connected to it and i removed it just the night before i got chargebacks. Only thing that is real info on the acc is Country. Nothing else is real. What should i do? Please help

You have to pay it back. The payment could have been made via a stolen PayPal. You have to be careful when accepting PayPal payments. If you don't pay it back you'll be in trouble.

 

I talked to the guy who did this on me he told me its Fraud. But i dont have 400$ and the information on the acc is not real. Am i still supposed to pay?

 

Uhm PayPal doesn't really care if you have the $400 or not. It has to be paid back. Your PayPal account is linked to your IP so they might discover your real information. Next time only accept PayPal from trusted users or accept bitcoin only.

 

Paypal messaged me and said they want more information about the money that got sent to and out of the account. And they need more information about me to continue this source. Meaning they can't do anything.?

 

They will be able to do something. They would have no problems with tracking you down and finding your real name/address etc. If you don't pay now, it will come back and bite you in the ass in the near future

Tell them what they want to know before they track down your SIN number. And if you don't pay without them having to take action, I have heard that they usually will ban you from using paypal in the future

 

they are more than welcome to ban me, Im nor paying for something i never did

Pretty sure not paying this, they will tell your credit card company about it. So you're gonna have a bad credit score. You only take paypal from trusted people. You have the $400 idk why you just don't pay it back.. It's not their fault you got scammed.

 

Not sure where he says he has the $400? I think them asking for more info would just be a way of tracking you down easier. They still can with or without your cooperation. Don't try and shove your misfortunes onto paypal. ;/

 

Depends who by people you mean. You're asking our opinions here and I'm pretty clear everyone here told you so far to pay it back.

 

I strongly recommend just paying off the $400.

If you don't you'll be banned from the platform, it'll be passed onto a collections agency, and possibly reported to your credit bureau.

Well no if your quoting there exact wording and they said "they need information" I don't see that as a threat.

 

That's a standard procedure.... By the way you already got yourself into trouble by creating a PayPal account with fake info.
