User scammed: greatdan11

User (allegedly) scamming: Lukas which worked for me Buyacc

Information:
Greatdan logged on to his account and claims all items were gone from his bank (approximatly 27M). He provided me with the following screenshot of his bank: Gyazo - 32ff5380c9b88110efbe2a54b985141b.png

My worker, Lukas, was at the time done with Greatdan's entire quest order (barrows gloves). After Lukas told me he was done I logged in to the account to check if everything was alright and to hand back 1.7M to Greatdan as some quests were cancelled. I can confirm that, with all items deposited in the bank the OSBuddy client reports a 27M value.

Possibilities:
The first possibilty is that, after I checked the account and went to sleep, Lukas took the items off of the account. The second possibility is that Greatdan sees this as an opportunity to double his bank by faking a scam and wanting a refund.

Solution:
I still got 32.1M from Lukas in my possesion, which could be used to pay back Greatdan. The thing however is that I am almost certain that Lukas will deny everything which will lead to it being Greatdan's word of the items being lost and Lukas' word that he didnt take the items from the account. This is why I decided to report it here. I don't know what I should do and I would like a decision from (a) moderator(s).

What happened after you gave back the 1.7M? Why was there a delay between giving it back and greatdan changing his password since Lukas finished the quest list?

 

I was at work the whole time. Buyacc was doing majority of my questing while i was at work.

 

Which had been the same over the past week or so

 

I live in The Netherlands and Greatdan lives in New Zealand. At the time of finishing the quests it was 0:39AM my place, I refunded the 1.7M and checked the items in the bank at 1:56AM. Greatdan responded at 2:23AM my time that he was at work, at 9:34AM when he checked his account (I think) he posted that he was scammed.

 

How did you refund him whilst he wasn't online?

 

I logged on to his account and logged on to my account. Then transferred the money to the account. This was also the moment of me checking the bank/quests.

 

Just to say things my point of view. I contacted BuyAcc 2 days about a questing position. I've been wanting to get in this market for a while but didn't really have time to build up a rep so I worked for BuyAcc. I deposited 10m to BuyAcc to work for him and I agreed to do a big quest order for him (b gloves for greatdan). BuyAcc would pay me around 20m for the order but would keep another 10m for a complete 20m deposit. After 2 days of long hours of questing, I got him 175 qp and did the final rfd battle. I took all gear from fight into bank and left a 20k xp lamp in the inv. Then i logged off. Thats it. Never went back on.

 

Can confirm this part. As I said, when I logged in after Lukas was done everything was still there. When I woke up I got a message from Greatdan that all items were gone.

 

Either one of you three could've done it, there is no real telling as to who stole the GP. Unless there is more proof, no one will be held liable.
Greatdan, I would highly suggest to not leave any valuables on your account whilst someone has access to it as well as change your password immediately after the completion of your order to prevent this from happening in the future.
