If you have not enabled 2fa, why havent you?

I didn't have 2FA setup on my Skype or Sythe because it would get annoying if I would need to verify an IP address and not have my cellphone nearby. Now I've decided to upgrade all of my security measures because I don't want to appear ignorant and get hacked.

 

I am not even sure what it is to be honest.

Very useful tool on here. Would highly recommend enabling it. Basically makes your account impenetrable.

 

My job requires me to be in the middle of the ocean for months at a time and being 2FA would be impossible for me. Contrary to popular belief there is not cell service in the middle of the ocean haha! I will be enabling it when i get home though.

In the long run entering these little numbers could possibly save you from having to be effected by big numbers if your account got hacked. I highly recommend you re-think

I believe you can download an Authenticator on your Personal Computer, it's suggested to try an authenticate on your phone for more safety.

 

I enabled it but didn't get the minirank
Edit; nvm I'm an idiot I didn't enable them.
By the way, I think if the option for 2FA was more visible or advertised as an option to use more people would use it.

 

I have 2FA but the little symbol doesnt show up for me

 

Haha I had the same issue, all you have to do is go user centre>perks>miniranks>drag the minirank to the 'postbit miniranks' section.

got a new phone, lost my so lost the auth generator.

Then took me approx 2 weeks to contact an admin to grant me access back to my account.

This needs to be looked into...

 

I did have this. which was provided to the staff member.

 

If you did have it, you should not have needed help from an admin to access your account?

Agyer being shut out for 2 years because i lost the code which was in my lost wallet, I am kind of reluctant to re-activate it to be honest. Maybe one day there can be a more streamlined process to recover the account
