This is INSANELY OVERPOWERED

If this is real, this is so overpowered, especially for deadman mode as you'd be able to find out where single players are hiding with skulls and easily kill them.

If it really works it would be OP. But not sure how it would work unless they have a scout in each section

 

Read the reddit post comments and apparently this data is sent to you, the guy just made an applet that allows him to view and put the data on the map.

 

man this is mad moneymaking if you can use it!!

 

Tell him I'll take a vouch copy lol. Seen as dmm gets killed of quickly if someone did this early on they could make some decent money.

Damn. I guess something like this could be done, considering how much people has managed to do with 3rd party clients already. OSBuddy had more plugins, but jagex removed some of them for being OP. Remember they were going to release a plugin that made you able to see what another player was wearing before seeing the player. Could be used for deep wildy PKing to see if you should approach a player or not. But jagex stopped them before it ever came out.

After reading some of the guys reddit comments (the one who made the applet that shows the amount of people in each pixelated square on the world map) I do believe this is real, and a few people probably have already done this before it was shared.

 

Most surprising is the fact that Jagex sends data of every player to the client.

 

Looking at the first screenshot, it seems like he places a lvl3 bot in every region to monitor surrounding players.
Making something like this (in tribot for example) would take half an hour.

Not that spectacular imo.
It's the same thing as when those websites logged all pricing messages in w2 varrock bank.

I think it would be pretty absurd if he was using 64 accounts, also the fact that not every square shows a person in it.

 

It would be trivial if everyone in the clan used his client.

But yes if this is done through 1 client, bravo.

I believe the guy stated some where in the reddit post that this works on both osrs and DMM.

It's fairly OP but in my opinion not 'game-breaking'. You would know where people are, but not if they are skulled or not. If you are a single player it's somewhat useless, for clans yes it would be OP. I wonder if they sell this stuff to clans.
