Wish or Consequence

I was just thinking about my most desirable wishes, and this came to me.

So heres the time frame:

1930's

you are a poor Negro, who needs help supporting his/her family, You know if you don't get them the money/help they need, they won't be able to survive.

One day you receive a wish. (I don't know genie? w/e)

Now think about it, you can wish for anything you ever wanted.

But its only 1 wish.

As well as a consequence.

See the "consequence" can be anything, but its UNKNOWN

examples could be: Having bad luck for the rest of your life, You being slaughtered/mugged, Losing both of your limbs.

If this was you at that current time & position.

Would you still make the wish? knowing your family's health was at stake.

 

Of course i would. i would risk my life to help them. i love my family

lol sure even if it envolvelet geting tortured but not if it involved giving up my religoiin

 

Without a seconds hesitation.

 

I would do it, but frame the wish in such a way so that the consequence could not possibly affect my life, or the lives of those that I know.

 

see i would also but the thing is what if the consequence was that an asteroid would wipe out half of the earth but me being a selfish greedy bastard id still do it.

 

I would do it, the consequence probably isnt worse as the whole family dieing so I would take the risk.

 

My family starving to death would be a consequence if I didn't take the wish.
