I think the "makes sense" was sarcastic, atleast I hope so. Be sure to mark the origins of all your previous love interests (though we're expecting 1-2 more tops) on a map so we can all know to avoid those vile countries.

    Moving to Europe?

I would consider, Netherlands, Germany, Finland, Norway or Sweden. Based on the economy and wealth I would go for Netherlands, Sweden or Norway.

You kinda get everything you want there..

Netherlands might be a good option for you. Especially around Amsterdam, almost everyone knows English well enough to converse with you, give you directions, buy/sell in stores etc. There are also a lot of English speaking jobs in Holland if you have the right qualifications. If you've a HS diploma with good enough grades, Dutch unis are very good and cost a lot less than American uni's (if you're gonna be a Romanian citizen I think it's 2,5-3k $/year). Our economy is great, one of the best in Europe and if you have the right qualification a well paid job shouldn't be hard to find. Good luck! Europe is a great continent to live in.

You are in Europe, but not in the EU. Switzerland, Iceland and Norway are not in the EU either, but we are in Europe.
