Although I like the site, but I heavily disagree with the offsite vouches rule and would disagree with it even if I had no vouches any where not even being allowed to PM a link to my offsite vouches really sucks, however the community is really great.

 

why would u disagree with it? You're allowed to link offsite such as sythe.
only not allowed if it's another botting site

I can understand why you're not allowed to link other botting sites, but I linked my Sythe and then Khale told me it's not allowed, then I asked him if I could PM it to people and he pretty much told me no.

 

Linking Sythe is allowed, but possibly linking people directly to your vouchers isn't?

 

If that's the case I could argue many reasons why i'm against that but i'm sure it's already been argued against in the past probably more than a few times, site is great community wise, but not friendly towards people who want to expand to other sites and have already established a reputation offsite.

 

But anyone could say that they are 'x' on osbot without any real evidence, if you post people on sythe, showing them you're Mootrucks on osbot.. people would be more inclined to trust you. However, just linking offsite vouches in a signature or whatever isn't proof.. obviously in your case you are Mootrucks on sythe and osbot, but scammers would say they are someone they are not.

 

I considered that before I made my post so that's irrelevant in my case, I even posted that I could easily prove it by PMing the person on Sythe, I do get what you mean but shouldn't it be common sense to get proof if someone is claiming to be trusted on another site and you want to potentially make a deal with them that requires trust?

By the way the type of deals in particular i'm talking about is skilling, I gave a guy a quote that was 33% cheaper than the guy he went with and all because I had no way of showing my Sythe profile/vouches there was no way he would even consider using me.

 

I'd tell people I have sythe vouches before I trade with them, but I wouldn't advertise it in my signature.
