Lean Officially Pardoning For Breaking The Rules

The thread above is not the original thread but i'm sure you can find it.

Basically the TLDR version of what happened is - I hosted a $100 giveaway, I paid the person who won the contest without any hesitation, I also trolled people who entered the contest and made them think they won, but never actually said they won.

A few days later: Threads are being created about "Lean" scamming even though he just gave $100 of his own money for no reason to some random person.

Lean is furious and requests the thread title to be changed as it is defamation (Lean is a scammer)
he then reports the threads in question 3 times and the 3rd time he asks for a global +..... Time To Buy (Being a sectional responds saying "let it go") so naturally Lean responded via pm to "Jack Goff" (an admin) calling out the people who are responsible and stating that if people are allowed to call him a scammer for no reason and get away with it, then he might as well give them a reason to call him a scammer.

The rest is history.


Honestly I am sorry for the way I went about proving my point, but at the end of the day the staff have to do what they have to do and whatever happens to my account from this point on, while I might not agree with it, the staff have made up their minds and it's their choice, and it is what it is.

The reason why your ban was made permanent was because you threatened to scam several people if you weren't unbanned. We take threats of scamming seriously, and you should know that as an ex staff member.

I trust you are an honest man so I will take you at your word that you intend to scam people if you are unbanned and therefore will not be supporting your pardon

Sorry lean, but you made a choice, and an extremely foolish one at that. Now you have to deal with the repercussions. I cannot in good faith support this following your actions.

Will not be supporting. You kept on and on and on with the bullshit appeals and shenanigans. Wasting staff time isnt funny, its stupid.

And leave no doubt I was the final straw for your current perm ban. Take 6 months off then we will revisit this imo.

 

I understand your decision to not support my pardon, FireZ. Although I can honestly say that if it was anyone else other than me who had wasted the staffs time I don't believe they would have been banned, but only infracted as the rules state will happen. I truly believe the reason i'm banned for something any other normal user would have only been infracted for is because people just don't like me because I have likely roasted them in the past. You've made up your mind though and I understand your decision.

 

I'm honestly sorry for what I've done, I assumed the staff (or vast majority of the staff) still had a sense of humor, and were not influenced by outside sources... But apparently I was wrong, and I not only accept it, but I embrace it.

 

It's smug replies that make this difficult. If anything, I find it funny how easily you're able to stir up people in the spam forum. You're a very good troll; that being said, there is a time and a place. Faking a fake vouch to get you banned to then post a dozen or more disputes, a few of which you promise to scam people if not permanently banned, is not the place. We take the dispute section seriously; as an ex global moderator you should know that we use that section to determine appropriate bans. We don't appreciate jokes, particularly ones promising that you will scam people.

One of the requirements of the pardon section is:

• Be able to demonstrate reform of character and legitimate regret for your offence(s).

Based on this reply, I'm not exactly sure you are legitimately regretting your offence. I'm going to tag @FireZ to review that, however.

 

Outside sources? Staff members do not joke about scamming.

You still dont seem to get it and still dont seem to embrace the fact you acted like a moron and forced the hand of the staff in which you got what you deserved. Also this notion of we wouldnt ban anyone else for the exact same thing is ridiculous. Have 5 members PM me that or post it and I bet you I hit the ban button 5 out of 5 times regardless of status.

You need to grow up, admit your wrong and move on.
