Alert: Thread Closed

Title. Makes sense. Notification when a mod closes a thread of yours.

 

EDIT: Yeah, we can tick a box for deleted posts/threads, would be nice to do the same for closed.

 

Unless it is a feature already implemented, but not released, then yes. If they would need to code in another checkbox and function to notify users if a thread is closed, then no. That would be way too much effort.

It is a superb idea, but realistically it wouldn't be worth it. You already check threads created by you, so you'll notice when they're closed.

 

I think it would be worth implementing even if it required a little bit of programming. We get notifications for so many things, so it doesn't make sense that we don't also get them for when threads are closed.

 

This would be nice to have, but as mentioned earlier, if a thread is important enough that you'll want to be notified if/when it's closed, then you'd probably already be checking it regularly anyways. If it can be easily implemented though I see no reason not to.

 

It's easy enough for a mod to comment and lock the thread while doing so. I'd say people can just read what the mod says there.

Seems like a good idea as it will make you more aware of changes to your threads. Would be nice if the reason could be supplied to the alert aswell, or atleast a link to the thread.

 

I support this, Does sythe alert you when a thread is moved? (never had one moved) If they do it would only make sense to add this feature as well if not they should add it along with it
