Make more miniranks available to see

it is okay to set a donor level but please make all miniranks visible

As i'm a minirank collector i've spend nearly 500$ on my miniranks and you don't know how sad i'm to see only 20 of them into my profile

this guy is also a collector of miniranks and shows only 30 i'm pretty sure he has more then 50-60 though,please find a solution for this.

Richard wants to introduce minirank collections so this is probably going to change soon.

 

The reason i buy miniranks is to have them 30-50 spaces in my profile so it'll see bigger that is the only point i buy it which richard suggests is not the main point of collection them it'll reduce the space of those minis.

 

That's what he's doing, though. The minirank collections is a great idea and it'll pass for sure.

Can't really support/no support this because we know what it'll look like soon.

 

I liked the giant wall of minis. People like Dobi kinda get shafted with that rule. I support this for sure.

Need to be a $300 donor to have 30 displayed, and that should be the max, no higher.

 

These people have spent money on their collections though, and now they are being punished by a limit.. I don't think thats fair

 

What if you've spent 1k $ on miniranks like harleigh ? You wouldnt say so if you have invested that much money on minis

 

*Support* to make all the miniranks visible, people spent tons of $ on them they should be able to show them off. Whats the point of having miniranks if you cant show them all off.

 

From what I remember, the original plan was always to have only a limited amount showing at a time, otherwise it stretched the website or profiles or something similar.

I'll tag @Sythe here to get him to look into it. If their is a technical reason for it, then their isn't a lot that can be done. If it's not technical at all, then yes I'm all for promoting a discussion on allowing more to be shown.

 

Postbit limit was 30 max for a while, it was just glitched on vBulletin. I'm pretty sure the plan was to allow a restricted amount be shown on the postbit, and have all be shown via your profile. This plan is better, no need for postbits to be stretched so long, it doesn't look good.

Again, this limit is restricted to your postbit. I'm pretty sure the plan was to allow all be shown via your profile under "miniranks".

You can show them all off via your profile. A restricted amount on your postbit will negate the stretching.

This was the plan on vBulletin, but there was a glitch causing a bypass of the limit which was 30 (being the max). The plan for Xen was to have the current restriction be specific for the postbit, and unrestricted for your profile.

Support, people have spent so much money on miniranks, its only fair if their miniranks are fully visible.

 

No thank you, miniranks are horrid. Perhaps if you could make them smaller, the limit could increase I.E a system where you could have a series of tabbed lines that opened up with a minirank if hovered.

If you want to display them all, give us old folk that bah humbug at the idea of large amounts of icons the option of hiding miniranks that aren't vital for information purposes I.E Steam Verifier, 2FA, etc.

I agree. Give us the option of hiding pointless fun ranks and donor ranks as well. Hell, give us the option of hiding usernames as long as loading times are faster.

 

Although I always have hated mini ranks and even more so hated how they stretched the page, it does seem unfair to change it after people have spent money on it. I don't see a good solution to fixing what I see as super annoying while being fair though.
