I don't think being offered jobs by friends is uncommon, so building friendships with acquaintances can be advantageous as well. Skilling or minigames services on the other hand are less demanding in terms of trust, but the same application process applies.

Do you really want to spend your life spending all day on RS earning barely any money at all? Get out there and get a proper job, even McDonalds is better than this.
