RS Cheating MiniRank

I think a GameShark MiniRank for posting in the RS Cheating section would be dope.

 

The more miniranks the better! Would be cool to have one for RS Cheating. Support

 

It's currently encompassed in the RS mini-rank which encompasses all of the runescape sections

I don't see how gameshark would be relevant to RS cheating however - it is for cheats but not for RS at all

 

i mean gameshark is directly associated with cheating, wasn't thats why it was created

I don't think it should be a gameshark, but a specific RS cheating Mini would be really cool. Would promote activity within the section so you can't just post in RS General to get the generic RS mini.

I agree with this, I think it should be one of the RS logos with a unique mouse pointer and a mouse trail (to symbolize a running bot).

yeah i think as long as there is an RS logo somewhere around it would be good. however i don't think the logo should be gameshark. this is simply because it is for cheating in general. this is not runescape and therefore if there were other forums opened up on here for other games to do with cheating then it would get quite boring as that would be the logo - ie a LOL logo on the gameshark logo.
quite like the idea of somehow symbolising a bot but not sure how people would go about doing that

 

This minirank was meant to encompass the entirety of Runescape. You can easily make the case that the private server forum should have it's own minirank as well, and at that point we're reaching with this minirank thing.

Half of the mini ranks you get aren't relevant to the reasons we get them... lol

Gameshark was for a LOT more than just gameboy. Gameshark is kinda the face of cheating.

Of course you can make your own, but like Kiro said below, this could be a never ending project, so I'm sorry to say but I'm not a support of this.

 

Would it really be a bad thing though if we eventually had a specific mini for each specific subforum? I know you were looking for a point system for forum activity, and as much as I hope to see something like that implemented, adding miniranks for activity in each section would be a "cheap alternative" to that suggestion since we already have miniranks in place.

 

I don't think it's a bad thing. It's undeniable that participation miniranks would encourage more participation, I just think we're reaching with assigning multiple miniranks to individual forums within a parent-forum when there is already a participation minirank filling that void.

It also begs the question of what will happen to the current participant minirank that covers the entire runescape forum. Would it be allocated to Runescape 3/Runescape 2007 General specifically? What about RuneScape Guides, Minigames and Servers?
