Limited pp account - not appealable. no reason given

I've contacted their facebook page, looking for feedback on what i should do from here. Maybe create a new account?

 

It's perhaps been caused by a seller using a fraudulent paypal account to pay you. I think if you made another account you would obviously have to use different bank details otherwise it will be locked automatically.

 

Making a new account wont solve anything, you are out of luck. If paypal doesn't want you theres nothing you can do. This happens when you receive too much money in a day or week and they think you are suspicious.

Welcome to the permanently limited club. You can call Paypal, however they will not get into specifics with you on why you were limited. Maybe you can get lucky and get linked with a representative who isn't a puppet. From my experience, what I determined led to this outcome was the people whom sent me money most likely were involved in fraudulent activity, or generally weren't ideal company to keep around (reversed tons of payments/were in debt/limited).

They're customer support gave me the run around and sent me to the compliance email.

knew my bond holding would make this happen. Other than a giveaway on sythe where I received $50 from Divica, I have only done bond holding in that time

 

Your account being personal and not business may have factored into the decision as well.

 

Forget it, was your account verified?
If you had a personal verified account and you got permanently limited with a final decision there's absolutely nothing you can do, don't try to open another account because they'll catch you faster than anything.

 

Not true at all. I have probably 1-2 perm limited accounts. I have 1 PayPal now that I use and have been using for years.

Is this PayPal you have using your real personal information?

 

If you were receiving payments from different addresses and then sending the funds to a singular source, I can see why it happened.

 

Someone used illegal funds and sent it to your paypal, that's exactly what the limitation means.

Your only chance is to call into the limitations department, request to speak to a supervisor than tell them that you don't know why the limitations was applied and would like an explanation- if he doesn't provide one- tell them you guessed someone sent you some illegal funds but you had no idea they were.


Just explain and point out that all your other transactions have been legitimate.

What does it mean when it gets limited? And isn't it really easy to contact PayPal and get this resolved

 

Your first mistake was making it personal... If you are getting money from doing something you should of made a buisness paypal... They are x10 better.. and have less restrictions

 

last time i contacted paypal the bitch put me on hold for 30mins and had an annoying voice, believe it or not twitter/fb is faster

 

wrote a comment on their wall . they got back to me within minutes saying to pm them on facebook
