Requesting information on this user

I approached this user about purchasing his account, then after agreeing on a price he said this. Just would like to know his credibility. And as soon as I started telling him I was gonna make a post he began to get nervous. Any and all information is greatly appreciated, really can't afford to get scammed.

You're asking for advice so here it is. You should only buy accounts from extremely trusted individuals. Every Runescape account can be recovered by the original owner no matter how much information the seller provides.

Depends on whether you trust him or not. I personally wouldn't trust any user with that join date

He won't use a MM so yea, i think he'll either recover it or straight up scam.

 

Don't buy accounts from non-staff.

 

Don't be an idiot and buy an account from someone untrusted, I made that choice my first time trading and didn't end up very well.

 

Even if you do use a MM during an account trade it doesn't really mean a whole lot. All the MM is going to do is assure you get the account in the first place. There isn't anything they can do past that to prevent the account from being recovered, and there isn't anything that they can do to help you get the account back if it does get recovered.

 

Don't buy the account.

 

That account is worth much more than 80 dollars, wouldn't be surprised if he ended up recovering it after you buy it, don't buy accounts from people that you wouldn't trust with a lot of money.

 

This. You'll come to quickly realise if someone tries to get you to buy an account that is clearly worth more than what they are asking, usually they're just trying to make a quick sale, get the cash and quickly recover it.

Had it happen to me a few times offsite.
