Before I start, I'd like to say I haven't made a signature/ui in 2 years.

I've never had this much negative feedback on something before, haha. I have a feeling it's because the colors are A LOT different on my laptop (where I created it). On my desktop it's way too bright and over contrasted, a lot of the detail just isn't there. Now that I know what everyone else is most likely seeing, I understand the rough criticism. * I also wasn't going for the average spam random shit behind the text and throw an animation in.

Anyway, it was refreshing to experiment with layers and filters again.

 

Font is too plain and the colors don't go together well, not sure why you put a watermark on it either when it's probably not even good enough for him to consider using, not trying to be offensive or anything just being real with you.

 

I just looked at it on my other monitor, and it does look a lot different. I have a feeling your monitor is way over contrasted. The style was suppose to be simple and the colors are subtle.

But hey, everyone has an opinion.

*Checked it on mobile and the colors are a bit more saturated than how it is on my laptop (you can still see the textures of the green text though, unlike the monitor). I might have to just use a cheaper screen that doesn't handle colors as well.

 

For just getting back into design it looks great.

Doesn't look bad. The bottom part looks like you were in a hurry finishing it though.

True, wanted to be done with it. Just thought it would be fun to make a forum signature again. Doesn't compare to my past work so it will be sent to the failed folder.

Probably wont make anymore, the colors on my laptop are a lot different than other monitors I have that I've checked on.

Not a fan of the colour combination but it's not terrible

 

It's not bad but the white and green combo doesn't blend in well together. I know a guy that would jizz all over this because of the space theme.

edit: did you make those sprites that you're using doe?

 

I don't like this at all tbh, If ur new or returning then sure its fine, but if I bought a sig and got that I wouldn't pay for it or request a refund.

The text and colors just look "off"

Looks quite neat actually although the bright yellow and green colors don't really seem to fit well together in here. What I dislike the most is the watermark.. it's too much visible and it's just.. no.

 

Most likely far better than anything I could do, however, I think it looks terrible, and would give it 0/10 - this is based on other signatures I've seen during my tenure here, and based of the GFX made by the other artists in these parts.

Why did you remove the image? Would've liked to given some tips on how to improve it.
