Mothers Day

Curious to see what everyone does for Mother's day (if anything)?

Me personally, I've done edible arrangements and taken my mom out for dinner. Edible arrangements is pretty great because it's chocolate covered everything, but not sure if I want to do that again..

Anyways, would love to get some more ideas/hear other people's ideas.

 

Oh crap, when's mothers day?

I usually don't do much except give my mother a hug though lol. Back in the day, I would draw her a greeting card, but thats when I was like 8-12 years old.

Mother's Day is this Sunday . And there is nothing wrong with a hug haha

 

Edible arrangements is a waste of money in my opinion, they charge 45 dollars for 12 chocalate covered strawberries.

 

I usually take my mom out to her favorite Restaurant and I know that's super cliche but it's something that she loves to do and it's pretty expensive so I do it for her.

 

I take my Mum out for tea, usually with our family (siblings etc) and I take her to get her hair done, and nails and shit.

 

i think im going to get her the louis vuitton shes been wanting for the last month lol

 

What the fuck is the point of Mother's Day? "Thanks for not aborting me"? It's consumerism at its finest. Some moms are shit and don't deserve shit. It's pathetic if you need a day to remind you to love your mom.

 

I honestly have no clue what I'm going to do, got final exams this week/not even in the same state as her but I need to figure something out lmao

Every year my uncles, aunts, and parents take our grandmas to eat, so it's more of a whole family gathering for us.

 

This week's been crazy so I can't actually really do anything with my mum on the day, so I took her out to dinner at a place of her choice on Thursday. I'm headed to the UK Sunday night so I'll bring her back a little something from the trip too

 

Came over and helped my mom clean up the house. Also helped out with dinner

 

I agree actually. I kind of dislike days on which you're super sweet to someone and the other day you can't stand each other. I try to treat her great at all times. Regardless of me my family does "celebrate" it by just coming over and have a good time.

 

Made breakfast, and did all her work for the day.
