    Sythe wouldnt this also bring this website to jagex's attention? If this website is linked to from all the other cheating sites then jagex might get suspicous.

    Yea good point jagex dont think outside the box so meh. Sythe is always growing and improving though which is good to see as long as jagex dont uncover us then we can only get bigger!

    Server is now 300 USD a month. Sythemils hasn't made much yet because thorpe is still getting everything sorted out, and he’s had to deal with a number of nasty cc reversals on paypal. He has filed a law suit against PayPal I believe for wrongful debt.

    Sythe.org's pagerank recently dropped to 6 which means now we are treading the fine line. Most of the footer link buyers will pull out soon I imagine (because we are no longer pagerank 7) which leaves only the ads to cover us. Since the ads are unstable and make more some months and less others, usually just under 400 dollars, we now have a very small buffer.

    So hopefully we can get sythemils up and running properly and get sythe.org back to a pagerank 7, otherwise we might be a bit stuffed (especially in the event the hosting company raises prices, which is inevitable with the massive US inflation right now.)

    If the situation gets really desperate I’ll ask for paypal donations for that month, but hopefully we can keep this setup floated!

    Thanks for that info, It helped me understand alot more about this and opened my eyes up to how fine of a line we are treading :(

    Glad to see that everything is going. Ill link to you guys on my forums. Also, Sythe, You should have a signature made for Sythe.org.. I'm active on a community with over 1 million members and I could put it in my signature. I'm sure everyone would like that. Also an affiliate button would help as well..

    What sort of hosting plan do you pay for if its 300 a month ??? sounds pretty expensive to me >.>

    Its the type of hosting plan where you have a dual cpu dual core top of the line AMD server all to yourself, with premium bandwidth. You know nothing about hosting large sites with huge traffic, so spare me your lectures.

    Paying in advance isn't going to help us if the site is making a net loss. It will just lead to a worse problem in the end. Far better to keep the cash flow in the positive so that its not out of sight out of mind. In addition I expect to be able to take a cut for myself (for time and effort invested which could be spent doing other somewhat more profitable things.)

    I am happy to work for the site, for free, for a while, but I have pretty strict limits on such things. The site was almost folded earlier this year when ad-sense banned me and refused to pay. Fortunately adbrite turned out to be a good egg.

    If the site makes a loss two months in a row it’ll be the end of it. I am not going to fork out to keep it floated.

    Considering that I am running the show I suggest you leave the decisions to me ;)
