Honestly with 10k, write out of the money calls/puts and collect premiums. Or day trade the VIX

(or if you aren't going to follow the market, set up a diverse portfolio. Super's your guy for that route)

by process your orders I meant connect you with ECNs, MMs.. but I see your point.
btw I like thinkorswim. It's an awesome platform if you aren't looking for costly high-end retail platforms, but unfortunately I can't open TDA account where I live.

I sold some tesla stocks a few days back. I still believe in them long term but the money can be used more efficiently by me in the upcoming months than sitting in stocks. Life equity decisions (spending some money to improve my own life now rather than long term).

Shoot me a pm we can work something out haha it slipped my mind with school being so demanding.

Also I'm starting full time employment making a decent salary for the next 12 months in addition to running my own small business. I think I'll be saving all of the income after taxes and living expenses from my career for the future. I plan on filling up the remaining room in my TFSA's (tax free savings accounts). I may put the remainder in RRSP's which would yield a tax break now and I'll be taxed on it later but that's the part I'm not sure on. Would it another option be better? Any suggestions guys.

Max out TFSA first, then max out RRSP contribution limit, then non registered investments if you still have savings available to invest.

i think bus or someone else in the skype chat is into forex. or maybe that's precious metals idr. but not sure why it would be "easier" than stocks, maybe easier in the sense that currencies are relatively less volatile?

I'm not "into" it but I understand how it works. It's definitely not easier than the stockmarket. It's global, so instead of knowing how your own economy is doing, you have to understand how every market is doing in a global understanding. It's also always open, and forex traders make good money but have almost no life and do a lot of cocaine

Do you guys keep a skype chat? I invest a lot more in real estate but would like to learn more about investing in other traditional assets because I personally feel I'm terrible at it...

I recently sold my property and have some cash to play around with until August/ September, maybe even longer due to uncontrollable circumstances with an upcoming investment.

Yeah punjabi we do but I'm currently completely liquidized and out of the market with finals around the corner and the market being fucking weird right now, I'm not okay with leaving my money in. What I did do, however, with intel the other day was write covered calls ATM at 31. Allowed me to drive my average price down for the shares

Hey guys, this is something I've always been mildly interested in but I don't know very much about it. I used to "trade" on the price of horses pre-race by simply following the money.

Would you guys be able to advise me on how to go about setting up a diverse portfolio as recommended to another beginner?

    Many thanks.

How do you guys feel about investing in the Vanguard ETF's - VBK and VO, and also the investment group BX? I think they are good investments but would also like to hear from others.
