I'd like to confess on 3/25 of this year I created a new account. It had been awhile since I've visited Sythe and I honestly missed it. All the time I've been away I had held my integrity to not make a new account, to just wait and create a pardon. Out of frustration I gave in, not with the intent to scam or do anyone wrong, but to just become a part of the community again. For some reason or another I didn't see I had a chance at a pardon. Sure, I've been registered since 2006 and have helped a fair few people out, accumulated a few vouches, just like the average Sythe user, but never really had a true "presence". To me, I just didn't see why someone would support me, they have no feeling for me. Maybe I just overthink way too much.. I hope this doesn't sway your judgement on my pardon.

*On this new account I only made 12 posts, almost all of which were with simply the intent to help people.


Detailed description of the events that took place and why you think we should forgive you:

I'd like to start off with the date this occurred *11-16-2014

To blame this on having a bad day or anything to do with the well being of me is just wrong, so I won't. It was an extreme lapse in judgement on my part, and it costed me something I wasn't willing to lose.

I had gone to the thread where Donators can dice each other, I believe it was in the Lounge. To sum it up, I quoted two dice rolls with the intention of not paying. At the time, the users didn't know they were scammed, I just hadn't responded to the outcome of the rolls. I got on Skype and noticed Jack was on, I messaged him I didn't the intention of paying out those rolls and to ban me. The regret and remorse I felt was so swift..

Within 1-2 hours of this happening I asked Jack to contact the two users and get them together so I could pay them out, which I did end up doing immediately. When I disputed my ban (not pardon) I asked if I were to be unbanned, that I get a self request ban afterwards, as I had a lot to think about. I had thought A LOT about this, going over the consequences in my head and how what I did actually affected real people.

Sythe and Runescape alike have been a big part of my childhood and now adulthood, and I just don't want it to end with a bad taste in my mouth. I feel I can contribute and become a valued member of this forum again, I just want to be a part of this.

I'm turning 21 here on May 3rd and it's been almost 2 years since these events took place, I really feel I've reformed.. and I want to prove it.

You were actively on that account an hour before you posted this. Had it not been for the ban evasion, I would have supported this. But I can't support it due to you not being able to respect the ban evading rule. No support. If you can not ban evade for 6 months and keep your nose clean, you'll have my support

 

@dunworry he mentioned it to me to add it in immediately after he posted it as he forgot, he's been forthright with the minor ban evasion to me and on the basis of it being so minor I'm willing to support this pardon, especially given the time that has passed to the original offence.
