Hi everyone I have about a 40m bank and I flip constantly. Looking for those who are interested in making a lot of gp in the GE.

My idea is to have everyone buy a certain item at a certain price and when everyone has them in (eventually we will be the only ones selling the item) we can set it at a certain price to sell and they will sell. everyone already knows team merching is a huge scam, only the ones on top make actual profit, and with 40m you couldn't change any profitable item price by even 2%

 

There is actually a tremendous amount of risk with this. Those who are close with the clan owner see the most profit, with any average Joe at the bottom losing money.

 

It's not merching, it's active flipping, people get in a group in skype and we discuss buy and sell points and hold at the sell price desired and keep buying as much as we can. I have numerous videos I have recorded of me making huge margins. I guess I can just do it myself then, thought someone else would wanna make quick bank. There are limits on the ge so we could only buy a certain amount of one item every 4 hours... PM me if you are interested. Instead of cutting people to sell quicker, hold price high and wait for their quantity to run out, then you're next.

Here, we can see the daily average is ~20m cannonballs a day. On average 3.4m cannonballs per 4 hour limit. To control the 4 hour limit, you need 486 different accounts, each with 1.75m on it. Obviously that's an absolute control of the market, and a very commonly traded item, but you get the idea. You need really rich people to get this going (talking bills spread across tens or hundreds of accounts (which realistically, you can mass merch on about 5 accounts at a time)), but good luck regardless.

 

Bump. I have been flipping since and made over 400m from my 40m.

 

Flipping alone if very different than doing it in a group. I've done it with friends back in ~2008 prior to everyone jumping on the bandwagon and it took multiple bils from each of us (we were a group of 3). If you were to try this today you'd likely need even more for two reasons.

1) More people a flipping - making the likelihood of someone currently holding the item you're trying to manipulate. As soon as you and your group make it more profitable by even a single %, they'll be more than happy to dump.

2) GE limits are smaller now. If you do this with a small team you'll likely have problems keeping up with the introduction of the item you select into the game. If you decide to do this with a bigger group to counter this, you run the risk of just one person panicking and leaving all of you with a loss.

If you're able to profit solo, I'd stick to that.

 

Alright I'll just stick to solo then haha thanks guys. Maybe it would be different if you were in the same room with a bunch of your friends doing it so nobody would get screwed but oh well.
