[Vote!]Should seasonal miniranks be tradeable?

CDT is currently having a discussion on whether or not seasonal miniranks (ie, miniranks like the Christmas 2015 minirank or the Easter 2016 one) should be tradeable.

While the results of this poll won't guarantee that they become tradeable, we still want to hear what the community thinks.

 

Doesn't really matter as they'll be worthless since everyone has them, but sure ^_^ maybe you want to give it to a friend or something.

Yes! They should be tradeable, maybe someone wasn't around to get one of them and really likes the way they look, or missed their opportunity to get it as they weren't online.

 

I feel that the seasonal miniranks shouldn't be tradeable because they should represent that a user was around and active on Sythe during that time (like the 10th anniversary one). But I do know that some of the older ones are able to be traded and have probably been passed around a bit, so that idea kind of goes out the window. Might as well make them all tradeable at this point.

 

I voted no. I think it's fun to commemorate what you've participated in here on Sythe. If we make them tradable, a few years down the road it's going to be weird seeing a 2018 join date with a 2014 event minirank.

 

No, It should be held like Rare items in runescape (post Scythe) You have to have been there and participated to get the miniranks

 

Voted yes, I think untradeables such as fun ranks and other mini's are more than plentiful enough to support making holiday miniranks tradeable.

Let it be said- they used to actually be tradeable I believe and it was fine.

 

When I came to Sythe, I originally loved Easter 2013 and bought it. I feel newer members would like to have some of the older ones.

 

There are miniranks that are nontradeable for seemingly no reason (for example, DIAF), and miniranks that are tradeable when they intuitively seem like they shouldn't be (like Sythe RSPS player, St Patricks 2013, etc).

I don't care either way, but it would be nice if it were consistent, and the only way to do that is free up all miniranks for trading (besides verifications and yearly/motm awards)

 

They weren't meant to be tradeable so I'm leaning towards no because it makes the most sense, although there needs to be some consistency here. Either make all seasonal miniranks non-tradable, or make them all tradeable.

Just to give an update-- we will be making all Holiday miniranks, past and present, able to be traded.
