NMZ Magic training

Anyone done the freezing method with ancients? What do you guys think of training this way?

 

I haven't tried training with ancients, but I have used fire wave and it's like 70k exp/hour with 1 def prayer gear.

 

Oh that's interesting. I think ancients might be double that then. Since it hits on like a 3 square radius. Similar to chinning.

 

Ooh look at you with the good ideas. 8 monsters stacked up + overloads = good exp I think.

 

If I remember correctly, this was nerfed a while back. If you use the runes inside the minigame it's only half EXP than it would be. You have to bring your own runes to get full EXP. As for bringing multiple accounts, that would work however, you'd have to keep them all from dying, or logging out so that would be pretty frustrating. I think it would be easiest to just burst/barrage the skeletons on Ape Atoll.

 

There are no runes in NMZ. You get free pots in NMZ though, so much better than ape atoll.

 

Ah right that was part of the nerf, if the bosses you choose do not require runes to kill, they do not spawn. They are there if you have bosses like dagannoth mother and chronzon enabled. Obviously this isn't practical.
