Do you use online working experience in a resume for a 'real job'?

Do any of you use your online working experience in a resume for a job in real life? If so, what would you consider the line between "I add this, but not this"? For example, would you only consider adding your online working experience if it exceeds a number like $1000 in earnings or would you even add minor things?

Depending how much you move, definitely. I don't think anything less than $10,000 should be mentioned as it could simply be a hobby.

 

For me no because it has no relevance to what I am applying for. (Civil Engineering) If I were to add the stuff I do here in, I would probably not get that job.

So it depends on the requirement of the job you are applying for.

 

On a call center, sales, or customer rep job? Absolutely.


On a mcdonalds job? not so much.

Just so you know, I decided to not put my sythe activities on my CV/resume.

 

As previously stated it's highly dependant on the job you're applying for

 

If you worked as a live chat operator for a goldsite then maybe if you were applying for a larger company, but to 99% of jobs it has nearly no relevance so I wouldn't bother putting it on there

 

Dependent on the job you're applying for. If you worked for a live chat service for gold selling websites and there was high volumes of trades, then you could easily use it to become a sales man or something of that sort. Actually, anything marketing in general.

 

I think it really depends whether you have other experience to share, whether your online experience relates to the job you're applying for, and whether you have a good reference from your online experience.
