How do you guys deal with lose streaks?

On the biggest lose streak of my life. And I'm playing awesome. It's just I'm always the top ranked guy on the team so it's on me to carry and my team is always SO trash it's impossible. Ranked down for the first time since I started playing.

 

Just close the computer, go outside for a while .

 

I get very salty lol

 

My advice would be to stop playing considering the large majority of players will go in a downward spiral when on a lose streak playing worse / caring less trying to obtain what was lost.

When i use to use my main a lot in season 3/4 before i was full time boosting i'd play 2-3 games each day since i'd always be fresh and have by far the highest win-rate instead of spamming games~

The biggest thing is to not tilt. The summoner's rift has turned me into a Salty Sailor before. I've used all 13 bad words in 1 game before. Here's some tips:

Take a deep breath; it's just a game, no matter how competitive.
Keep positive energy among the team; even if you want to win - express your intentions the best you can without making anyone feel bad!
Take a break from solo q and play some normals! Stomp some noobs, get some momentum going.

Here's my best piece of advice:
You have 15 seconds from when you spawn till you can actually move.

Duo with people you have a good synergy with, that person should calm you down and vise versa to keep a level head when trying to win the game.

 

I play something more laid back when I'm losing a lot in a row so that I don't get caught as much. Healing support or wave clear champions.

 

If I go on a 4 game loss streak in ranked I'll just go play a different game for a while then play a warmup normal then go back to ranked

 

Just have a break, dont play rankeds etc. Play normal games with friends to chill out

 

I tend to be a streaky player in general, whenever i look at my match history it's very noticeable; it's easy for me to identify when the cause is due to me tilting though, whenever i'm tilting I become really fidgety in my chair. Lately whenever I've gone into a losing streak i play a few games on my smurf, which is nice since it gives me an excuse to get my smurf to at least plat. If i'm really not playing well on a particular day for whatever reason i'll either call it a day or play some arams.

 

Lol yeah that's a good point, lots of peps struggle to stop queueing when tilting so instead just switch to smurfy

 

I keep playing until I win then take a break. It's the wrong thing to do, but I still do it .
