Do you want children?

I think it all depends on the environment that the child would be raised in along with the parents and other people the child would be exposed to. There are a number of factors that would come into play including the maturity level of the person deciding to have the child along with financial income ect ect...

Haven't exactly been thinking about this lately. My first concern would be how to get children, so let's find myself a girlfriend first. After that, yes, I think. Not too many though.

 

You make it sound as if the whole world is just one big shit hole and there's nothing but sadness and despair. You probably haven't had many positive experiences in life if that's your conclusion. Yes, I will consider having children in the future once I've found a partner whom I wish to spend the rest of my life with. I can't speak about adversity because I've had a comfortable upbringing, never had to struggle because my parents made sure I had everything I needed as a kid/teenager now. I'm in University now so kids are merely a possibility for the future, at the moment I'm focusing on finishing University with top grades so I can find a job and pay off my ever growing student loan.

Nope. They are like a puppy that takes 18 years to grow up and that you can't lock in a cage when they are being dicks without going to jail.

 

The only way I would ever have a kid is If i had the right women to do so. Id never want to put my child in jeopardy because me and his mothers relationship is crumbling. One of my closest friends fell off because of it, and Im still at a lost of words for it today. No one wants to stick around anymore, no one understands there are good and there are bad times. As you get older you lose your lust and appeal which is the only thing people look for, I need a woman who looks into a soul and is always there for me no matter what the battle is, because ill always be there for her.

I want a child, but I don't think ill ever be able to have one.

 

I do not want children for a few reasons, one being i seem to be very asexual when it comes to both female and male, I have never really felt romantic love before in such a way in which i would even find a person who I would want to spend a while living with let alone raise a child with. I also find that I would not be a very good father, my educational upbringing has been one of an auto-didactic and I would not know how to help them with homework or other stupid normal children stuff, because honestly I was never really that much of a child myself, so how could I possibly supply that experience for someone else?

 

I think having kids is wrong.

The fact that you never know what is going to happen within the next few years of having a kid makes it irresponsible. If you are going to take risks you either need to have consent of the other people involved or it's your own welfare on the line and not anyone elses. If they get some debillitating disease, yeah you should be paying the price and not your kids because when he grows up and thinks, damn, i wish i was never born with this' you really ain't got no excuse. But parent's are too young and stupid to take this into account and what's worse is this complementary baby culture which people get sold into which you can probably thank marketing for.

Continuing with parent's being too young and that, i will argue not many will have had some real life experience behind their back. They won't know what it's like for their body to start breaking down and develop issues later on in life or perhaps the phase of knowing what it feels like when your quality of life collapses during the last stages of death. Your opinion may change depending on the circumstances. How can anyone be honest and say that you know what you're in for or what you are subjecting someone to?

You can't justify your desires for taking someone out of comfy nowhere and putting them in harms way. There is no necessity for it. 8 million kids don't get to see their 5th birthday every year and many millions more have some form of deficiency. How many people will you in slave to your fantasies of a bright and beautiful future when you can't promise it?

People who have kids make the fallacy of deciding for someone else whether a life is worth living based on their own subjective experience. Not to mention, financially having a kid can be devastating. Billions in social taxes, increased competition, global resources and need to build more infrastructure etc.

If you really want kids think about adoption. Less trivial and good deed.

I've always wanted 3 children, 2 boys and 1 girl. Maybe when I turn 30 I'll start.

 

I like late 20's into 30's. I want to have kids old enough for me to be stable, but young enough that I'll be (hopefully) healthy to see my children into adulthood and have their own children.

 

I will have 1 kid in a couple of years. But first i need to build a home for my family

It's gotta be the right woman. I'd need a good place for a family, I'd need to be well-off financially, and still have an appropriate amount of free time to spend doing family stuff. If even one of those is unattainable, then kids are unlikely for me. 1-2 if I can get to that point in life.
