Block Proxys from Sythe

I have noticed a few forums around have installed some sort of feature that blocks the use of proxy's.

For example, I used to use ZenMate (Google Chrome extension) to get onto different countries Netflix before they disabled that; since then I have tested out some other forums such as hackforums.net and they have a feature which can block anyone from accessing their website if they're using a proxy service.

My suggestion is to install the same sort of feature here at Sythe.org; this would, in my opinion, prevent a whole lot of ban evaders and potential scammers wanting to hide their own IP.

I personally don't use a VPN or Proxy service, but I wouldn't support the input to block it. People should have the option to be as anonymous as they want to be, trading with someone is always a risk that someone takes, and that's part of the "free black market". I think a lot of traders use VPS system's and or proxies to help prevent a chain ban, and coming on and off of a proxy/vpn just to access sythe sounds like a hassle.

I do not use proxies, and rarely buy/sell. I like to visit sythe every few days and take a look at what is happening etc and wouldn't like the idea of not being able to remain anonymous if I wanted to.

 

To add onto Sythe's point, we provide the platform to trade on - it's your responsibility to vet those you are trading with as trusting anyone on the internet with money entails a degree of risk.
