Sneakerbots?

Anyone have or know where i can get one? I really want to get the jordans that come out tomorrow but i have a dentist appointment for a root canal and won't be able to go or monitor online.

Please halp!


edit: please dont tell me to google, i'm not willing to pay $400 for a bot when i'll only be using it once for $200 sneakers

You're talking about the master 12's? You should've went to a footlocker or any store that would be selling the sneaker and pay beforehand, that's what people usually do. I've heard of people using bots, but if they cost that much, that's ridiculous.

 

Don't most of the people that use bots do their best to score hundreds of a limited release for the re-sale? I guess their price is somewhat justified but certainly not if you're the average joe who is simply looking to buy one dope pair of kicks simply to wear.

 

I think they stopped that as of recent, and limited it to one pair per person. Usually, Jordan's don't go out of stock like they used to, but I think this release coming up is highly coveted by many people so I can see that being the case.

 

AFAIK in my area you can't go to pre-purchase them. They raffle tickets for the sneaker 2-3 days before release. If you don't have a ticket you can't buy the sneaker.

Theres a few people selling them on eBay for $250, i'm about to pay the $50 extra to guarantee ill get them =/

 

You live in NY, right? There are some unofficial retail stores that will allow you to buy ahead of time, although they put an additional $25 on top of the set price.

 

Yea i live in NYC, the only ones i know that allow you to purchase them early put a $300 price tag on them :'(

Assholes lol. Getset allows to you pre-purchase for a much reasonable amount, and I don't see the shoes selling out there immediately since it's kind of an unofficial retail store. If you can't order the shoe on time, I suggest going there later that day.

I would if I had the money. Was planning to buy a pair myself, but I had to spend $ on bills.

Honestly looks like i'm going to be buying them for above retail on eBay. I'm wondering if the price will just increase if i wait till after release since they're currently only $250 right now.

 

The price may increase, the most being $300, then possibly a month afterwards, increase some more depending on the demand for the shoes. $250 isn't that bad for the shoes though, they're worth it imo.

 

My GF works in a mall so i'm praying she can get them for me before the mall opens... We'll see =/

 

Most good bots aren't sold to people, they're usually custom made

 

I know it late, but the best bet for future reference is to go to the store and first see if you can prepay and pick up (doesn't happen a lot around me), next see if you can get a raffle ticket (Call the store and ask about it, saves time) but even with the raffle you might not be able to get the size you want. best of luck on future releases!

 

A bunch of people have offered me between $200-$400 to make one, just haven't had the time. The testing would be a pain in the ass too :\

 

I woke up hella early today, waited by my computer during release and go them on footlocker after about an hour of waiting. We'll see if i actually get them though since its "Waiting for approval"
