Can you try and recreate the logo Jack posted? Placement of the slogan is very important imo. I'm not feeling it just being placed under the logo like that, and not having the logo condensed would be nice as well.

 

Could just give the old logo a face-lift instead of a redesign.

 

I think that was Tr1bal's entry way back when right? Would be happy to include that in the design if he allows it.

 

Is it 100% required that the site has to continue to be just different shades of blue? Can we get any other colors going here?

 

It's always been like that. It's best to keep it the same color scheme we've always used because it's a part of Sythe.

 

Adding different colour options wouldn't be difficult and would be entirely optional. I'd love to see some shades of red, or even black+grey

It'd only add to the feel of the site imo

Well whatever the community wants as a whole will be implemented. For the main redesign I'll keep the colors we currently have. Anything supplemental like a new color scheme will have to wait. Also, red/blue/yellow will look awful. Gray/black/blue/yellow are colors that go together much better.

What about switching the position of these two rows: https://i.gyazo.com/f67164738bff9234bba2557689752969.png and/or having https://i.gyazo.com/a4cb1bb310eb0e53a8fc7dfa7c6d85a2.png at the top like how it is now? I feel like it would make more sense to have the buttons directly above the forums at least and maybe have the administrative tools/quick-links closer to the top.

 

I would have to agree with the others saying the old logo was better. Other then that I'm really liking the tabs and how nice everything looks overall. Great work! Definitely hyped
