Next Gen Sythe Redesign [CHECK IT OUT!]

So as many of you may have heard Sythe.org will be moving on from vBulletin to XenForo soon. With that in mind, now's a great time to improve on not only the software we use but the aesthetics of the site as well. I've taken the incentive to port our current layout and integrate that with some up to date web design trends. It's best to move on from the current, rather amateur, look of the site to a cleaner/sleeker looking one.

(Keep in mind this is an unfinished design and all feedback will be taken into account.)

First.

I like the minimalist. I liked classic but Richard got rid of it to meme someone.

 

Looks very nice and clean. Would rather the nostalgic Sythe logo than the one shown in the example though.

While we're on the topic of a redesign, is there any way we could have a tab that says "market guides - how to stay safe" or something, and have that link to several guides on how to avoid impostors, risks of paypal and accounts, etc?

 

Looks pretty good as others have said, clean and sleek. I don't particularly like the logo though, it's not bad, just something about it. Will there be anything going in the black background below the header? Is the New Posts table customizable as well? I don't want all New Posts being 'bump' from the market sub-forums...

Looks cool, I like the logo better but that's just me. Also you misspelled feedback.

 

While it's ironic that you were responsible for this "rather amateur" current theme, I'm all for it. I'd love to see sythe in a sleeker, more up-to-date look.

It looks nice but I'm not a fan of the tabs at the top.

 

big fan of the minimalist design, but i do prefer the old logo. or we can do changing logos (something similar to UIs?) if that's easy to implement

also would be cool if you could customize your top-tabs

Don't like the condensed look of it.

 

Moonglare, your gfx work is terrible and I solemnly swear I would quit Sythe.org if you are responsible for the new theme.

Looks alright though.

 

I like the sleek design. The simplistic logo isn't bad but I'm not a huge fan of the font

 

Liking the sleek and minimalist look, as others have mentioned. Looks good so far.

 

Love everything, including the logo. Not sure why people don't like it. Really good work Moon!

 

I would prefer to see the crown on the S instead of the E

 

Looks great overall. Personally, I think it might be better to have the quick-links at the very top like how they are right now, but they look fine there too.
