Banned without proof

Hello staff, and thanks for taking the time to look into my situation. My username is "Proc" and I recently received a ban due to "scamming" in a situation that I did not even know was a problem until I was banned. I made an offer to someone selling a gift card - then was messaged the details without ever discussing further. I had some real life expenses come up, so I told him I was unable to buy the gift card. After this, he claimed - with no proof I may add - that I used the gift card. Unless it can be proven by the company the gift card was through (Duluth Trading) who used the gift card, I don't believe I should be blamed and banned. It could have just as easily been him who used it, or someone else looking to buy it. I am a over 5 year user of this site, and have never had a problem or accusation like this before.

i agree, you shouldn't be banned for this. there's no proof of a transaction here, and he shouldn't have sent the code before receiving payment. so a shitty situation for the seller, yes, but not one we can ban you for

unbanned
