    Why is Sythe.org slow?
    Can anyone clear this up for me? Takes almost forever to get in sythe.

    Why is Sythe.org slow?
    Theres nothing I can do when I can't even log into SSH. Whenever the site gets attacked now I just get my host's dedicated server team to work on it for me (I started paying extra for that.)

    So that's all it is? Just some idiots DDoS'ing? I'm not a genius with computers, but couldn't you get the ip of someone doing that and report them to the authorities?

    I mean, huh, its *working fine* right now, the styhe site has been down sevral times a day.

    It can be 10,000 times faster really.

    Someone got to change host :p

    Same for me, a couple days ago coming on fo the first time after 1 month ago wen i registered, it's running really slow, like 20 seconds to load each page. But now its a ltitle faster, don't know why=/

    sythe has been fucked for me over the past 6-9 days.
    but tonight it seems fine. hopefully they will finally get a life and give up.

    Why is Sythe.org slow?
    You know nothing about hosting. Do you even understand what a dedicated server is? It has nothing to do with the host, the problem is ddos attacks from a professional ddos network.

    Well if you took the time to install DDos software you problem would cut your problems in half... secondly your account being suspended isn't that from not paying the bill lol :p

    Sythe if im correct, Doesnt a dedicated server cost more because its not a shared server and means it can hold more people? Just wondering.

    Why is Sythe.org slow?
    (sigh)

    A dedicated server is an entire server which is not shared with anyone else. This whole site runs on two dedicated servers. I have root access to both, I choose the software on both, I choose the hardware in both. One runs mysql, one runs apache.
