Ok 2fa with advanced security is now done on xen. I need to write a conversion script to move existing 2fa over to it but that should be trivial.

sorting out mysql permissions for various connect-in services such as the minirank cron

 

Wasted half my day debugging production banner bidding system.

There was a rollover error which caused some degree of fuss including a reversed transaction.

Continuing to port the bidding system to xen now. I can at last complete it because 2fa system is done.

 

When we add collection support.

It'll be something like this: You get the 2 top rows of miniranks to stick any rare ones you like in any organization you like then the third and fourth rows will be collection miniranks which work as inventories (i.e. bags/collections) for the rest of your miniranks.

So for example you'll have some pepes if you hang around long enough and rather than clutter up your top two rows with all your different pepes (which makes them easy to steal) you can leave them in your collection which makes them very slightly harder to steal.

I'm currently paying for two sets of production servers. So believe me when I say I'm trying to get it released.

 

Just finished porting banner bidding system (now doing testing/debugging for it)

I have to write an addon to include the banners in the headers and footers.

then my major programming components are done (although I'm waiting on matt to chase up his remaining tasks)

I will then polish data importing (I need to make sure 2fa imports correctly to the new 2fa system) then I'll import a new copy of the most recent data

then CDT, exstaff, donors will all be allowed in to test

and hopefully I won't have to pay for a second set of servers for another month

 

More debugging today.

We've limited the feature set so we can get the initial release done.

Just waiting on minirank cron from matt, which he's working on today.

I'm debugging some issue with memcache and finishing up banners today.

Then fresh import and beta release

 

I passworded it to stop ppl stealin me pepes

 

OK memcached issues appear to be sorted. Recompiled all instances with the sasl flags, reset their configurations and sasl passwords and enabled forced binary mode. All are working correctly now.

updated all system packages (monthly update)

updated percona db to latest version and ran a rolling reboot on the cluster

there's a couple more queries to debug in the banner bidding system then I'll write the banner addon
