Help me find some new monitors!

I'm currently looking for some new monitors.

These are the ones I have atm:

Those screens seem fine but are probably not that good for longer periods and after all I've had them for 3 years now. There is probably a lot better stuff out there so I'm curious what I should go for.

The setup I have right now (one being 24 inch and the other one 22 inch) seems fine with me, I use the bigger one for most of my stuff and the 22 inch one for expansion.

Please note that the screens must have both HDMI & DVI because the computer I have just has 1 HDMI output.

My current resolution is 1080p on both my screens and 60Ghz refresh rate. I heard this is not optimal at all and 144ghz would be way better.

I'm guessing resolution standards have also changed (Pretty sure everyone uses either 4K or 1444p now?)

I'm not looking to pay 700€ for a screen at all, my pricerange would be 300-400€.

If anyone could link me some, I really liked razer (I wear them for a lot of hours at a time so they have to be VERY comfy.) plus the ones I had were 7.1 surround sound which would be great to have again.

Should I purchase the same ones again or get a different pair?

I just want to make sure, you want to spend 400€ per monitor or total? Any sort of monitor stand color preference?

Your current IPS HP monitor is pretty good, just has 7ms which is bad for gaming. As far as i know, the difference between 144hz vs 60hz is negligible but the difference in 1080p vs 1440p is quite noticeable.

Depending on your price range i'll find you some 1440p monitors for gaming (if you game) 1440p monitors are kind of expensive though if you only plan to spend £400 total.

Thanks for the info. Double 25 inch seems way too huge for me and I don't even know if I have the desk space for that. I have no clue how colors work so anything is fine. I'd be looking for 300-400€ on each (I might just get 1 new monitor and use my other monitor just as a backup as I am doing now)

I do game quite a lot yes, what's the difference like between 1444p and 1080p?

Also I'd like some personal opinions on what you guys use.

 

The difference between 1080 and 1440p is HUGE, i have two asus 1440p monitors with 1ms refresh rate, and it's incredible.

 

Are they 144Ghz?

 

For a headset is recommended the Logitech G430s. Love mine.

To be honest, you're better off with a 144hZ monitor over a 1440p. IMO for the games you play, and your GPU, I think you're going to notice much more of a difference from 60->144hZ from 1080->1440p.

I'd recommend the ASUS VG248QE, BenQ XL2411, BenQ XL2720Z.

AFAIK all of the 144hZ monitors I listed have the same exact panels, the only differences are the settings and how easy the UI's are to customize. If I was you I would look for one of the three 144hZ monitors I listed to go with the first one that goes on sale.

Any recommendations on headsets? I liked the sound of my razer kraker a lot, just sometime my ears started to hurt because of the length I was having them on.

Alright so I just got my newly purchased monitor delivered
(this one: https://www.bol.com/nl/p/asus-mg278q-wqhd-gaming-monitor/9200000051102981/)

I had some issues with the resolution at first but got that sorted after I installed the drivers, I noticed after getting 1444p, I still had 60ghz refresh rate. I think it has to do with me using regular HDMI cables (HDMI 1.4) but 144GHZ needing HDMI 2.0

My computer only has a regular HDMI output and a DVI output (which I use for my other screen)

Is there anything I can do to fix this? Maybe a converter, or something else?
