How risky is it buying an account from another country?

Was looking into buying an account, but the account was made in another county, is it risky to buy an account from another country? Does jagex look into that and could it be banned for it?

 

In my experience the only issue that I have run into with this is that the account gets locked due to the drastic IP change. You can message the seller and he can unlock it for you; you can continue playing as normally.

Just remember that recovering an account is extremely easy if he submits the appeal from the same IP the account was created on and you'd be screwed.

 

If it gets locked due to the IP change it should only happen once, have the owner of the account unlock it then you continue playing on it normally.

Make sure you're buying from someone trust worthy or else the account will most likely be recovered from you in the long run,

 

It will be locked in days. I wouldn't do this. I've seen this a lot recently and it even happened to me personally.
