What did you want to be when you were younger?

Simple question, when you were younger what did you want to do when you got older? And are you currently doing it?

I'll start us off. For myself, I always wanted to play professional soccer and if that failed become a real estate agent. I remember always going into stores and looking at magazines with all the houses listed for their selling prices and thinking that I wanted to do that one day..

Well as I got older, I found a greater interest in the medical field and decided that I wanted to become a physical therapist. Currently. I am applying for graduate school for physical therapy.

Always wanted to be an astronaut. Going to space still really intrigues me. Don't think I can keep up with the math and physics to be with naysa so I'll just have to become an eccentric billionaire who has a private rocket. I know private tours to space exist too but it still costs you out the ass.

 

I wanted to be a archaeologist. I loved history and old things. And digging shit up seemed to be the coolest job ever.

Now I'm a programmer/web developer.

 

Fighter pilot. Would love to be dropping bombs on ISIS, when I was younger I was more focused on Al-Qaeda and to take them down one by one.

 

My mother said I wanted to be a pilot when I was really young, but the first thing I remembered wanting was anesthesiologist

underwater welder. Turned out im terrified of the ocean and to shaky to weld.
As of now im still looking for all free education opportunities and hope to get into the marijuana industry at some point in life.

Wanted to be a lawyer, studying for International Business now, but I might still pass the BAR, we'll see.

 

I wanted either to draw comics, be a rock star or a famous chess player. Silly kid

PS Thou I achieved couple things in comics and chess.

 

I wanted to be a baker because I loved the smell of fresh bread etc

 

Aside from the phase that most children have where they want to be president or king of the world or some shit like that, I wanted to be a meteorologist (weather scientist). Although it was fairly interesting, I got into RuneScape botting in high school which led me to pursue the career path of a programmer instead.

 

Trucker, astronaut, naturalist, up until around age 12.

 

Architect. Sometimes I wonder if I should have done it - went comp sci instead. Still might try and write the MCAT. Not sure yet.

 

I'm actually still kinda young and have time to change my career path So I'll add that I want to try acting if I can save enough where money isn't any obstacle to do whatever I want.

I wanted to be a marine biologist for the longest time. I ran into a terrible biology teacher in grade 11 and a great chemistry teacher in grade 11 and now I'm one year from becoming a chemical engineer.
