Charging people a fee to donate to sythe is fucking absurd. Somehow it's perfectly expected that someone who wants to donate $25 to sythe.org will need to pay $35 because the bondholder needs $10 for their own personal use what in the fuck it takes literally less than 20 seconds to process a donation how in the hell was this ever a system fucking greedy-ass pricks profiting off of users who just want to donate to the site pisses me the fuck off I'm not trolling even a little bit I'm legitimately mad that several people are perfectly fine profiting off of other people wanting to make donations this is seriously some of the greediest most self-serving shit I have seen on this site OMMs charge less in fees for trades that require a ton more effort and patience dealing with random rs players on skype as a bondholder you literally just accept people's gold or paypal and send it on to sythe that's it Christ almighty is it too much to ask that we not fee-scam our own members for a completely effortless service, please

Anyway, I thought it made up for the paypal chargebacks, I don't think it's fun for bondholders to keep getting chargebacked.

 

I'm fine with this for payment methods that can be charged back, only if sythe wont refund the bond holder for the amount.


But for btc and rs gp thats just skeming

 

I wouldn't mind a small fee that scales the donation amount, but $35 for $25 is just ridiculous..

 

I paid nearly $9 to donate to my first $5 donation rank, thank god i found out i could donate myself.

I would do it for free if not for chargebacks. Richard is shifting the burden from him to another party which charges fees to make up for the risk of being charged back. Everyone has to pay for the dickheads that scam.

people profiting off donations isn't any worse than taking donations when your site already has ad revenue or donating for ranks/to be trusted instead of actually wanting to support a site.

Except for PayPal I do all my donations through others. For example if somebody wants to donate through rsgp I send them to bogla and say pay rates get them to send me pp no fee on my end.

That way they get current rates and no risk to me.
