Cold Showers?

More good than no shower and stinking like a wet dog.

 

I took cold showers for a little bit a few months ago because I'd heard about the health benefits, but it ended up turning into a test of willpower just to see how long I could stay in there. I've since stopped because taking a hot shower is pretty much the only thing I look forward to in the morning.

 

Yeah, it's quite difficult to get into it, but you practice makes perfect.

Don't see the benefits outweighing the negatives.

Will taking like 30sec of cold during a hot shower have the same effect?

 

I couldn't take cold showers even if I wanted to try them out, heater in the bathroom is broken, would be way too cold.

 

well if you're looking for the mental benefits you'd want to do a straight up cold shower no warm water. people who do it for mental benefits do it to increase there will power. takes a mentally strong person to get up each morning and put themselves in a few minutes of discomfort by cold showering.

I do take cold showers after jogging, matter of fact going to joy after an hr or so

 

Iv'e taken a break for now. Was a going great the first few days but after that i started feeling really uncomfortable.

 

Just don't take a cold shower with your gf if you know what I mean
