Need Opinions On A RWT Ban

So basically about 10 months ago a max melee account of mine was hacked and the guy ended up doing " commision staking " on oldschool and when i recovered the account it ended up being banned for RWT. Any chance this ban will be lifted in the near future? The offense wasn't even commited from my IP. Thanks in advance !

 

There is absolutely zero chance of you getting unbanned.

 

You're responsible for your account is what Jagex will say to you, so just about a 0% chance.

What's funny is that my friend botted on one of my accounts a while back and the account received a Goldfarming Major ( Perm Ban ) and it ended up getting unbanned about a year later. Thats what gives me hope.

 

Recently, Jagex has started holding review periods for accounts that were banned for macro offences while hijacked, and -I think- they said that they might look into reviewing other offences too. So there might be a very slight chance for your account to be unbanned if it was actually hijacked at the time of the offence, but I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.

 

A friend of mines account was hijacked and the dude commited a botting offense so my friend decided to appeal to jagex during that period and they didn't unban the account lol

 

No chance. You can make an appeal but it'll get declined. Your account is banned forever.

 

Then why was my account that was banned for a gold farming major recently unbanned after a year? the offense was quashed

I literally have no idea. I just randomly tried logging into the account one day and it worked. Looked at the offense meter and it was quashed.

Doesn't say " quashed " by the offense anymore but as you know macroing majors are perm bans

Actually, i do have a chance. Maybe if you would of read the previous posts instead of spamming my thread for quick post count you would know that.
