Have you seen it? What are your thoughts on it?

I know many are probably annoyed about the topic, but I think it'd be interesting to discuss amongst ourselves.

I've heard so much about this and probably will watch it soon. I've heard a lot of controversy about it though, but also heard it's interesting. Will post and update when after watching it!

dude this was so two weeks ago at my office, get with the times :p

but anyway, i watched it. i thought it was really neat that they've been following the story for as long as they have. yes, it's slanted (isn't every documentary?), but i think it does a good job of highlighting some of the gross ineptitudes in manitowoc's police department and local legal system

how about you - what were your thoughts?

A question for those who have watched it..

Would you recommend me watching this, or should I watch another crime related episode?

I dislike how it only gives one side of the story, one in which is highly favorable to Steven Avery. Besides all this, the story is fucked up all around, especially for Brendan Dassey. I believe he had something to do with the case, but not now he described so, because obviously the evidence doesn't match with his story. I really dislike the way they coerced him to give a story that wasn't true. That ripped my heart apart. I don't have much sympathy for Steven Avery at all because he isn't a good person. He watched a cat burn alive, he's reportedly abused his fiancee on multiple occasions, public indecency reports, and Brenden saying he was molested by him. The Manitowoc police department had no reason to be on that case, it was definitely a conflict of interest. I also think there was a lot of reasonable doubt that shouldn't have convicted Steven Avery. Ultimately, Steven Avery is a piece of shit, the documentary purposely makes you feel bad for him and his family without highlighting why they were so hated by the community, and Manitowoc police department got away with ruining a family's life.

You should definitely watch it. It's almost impossible to not binge watch it because it drives you in. It also gives great insight on the injustice of the police dpt.

Guilty as hell imo. But he shouldn't have been convicted given the overwhelming proof of evidence being tampered with/set up. That documentary is super biased though so I'd take it with a grain of salt.

was a good watch, makes you think as you watch it, and form your own ideas about the people. personally, i think hes guilty based on the documentary.

Was a great watch. I liked how it made me switch from thinking he was not guilty, to guilty so many times.
