Starting a new main, any tips?

I'm planning on making a new main. With NMZ in the game, where do I go to start off my account?

I want to afk my combat stats at nmz, so should I just complete mtd quests and powerlevel to 70/70/70?

 

You're not gonna want to go to nmz till about 60/60/60. Questing sucks dick plain and simple. But you're gonna need bgloves and a lot of quests done for all sorts of stuff anyways. And they give a ton of free stats. Just get bgloves out of the way then have fun with the game.

What I do from scratch every time, kill chickens till like 10/10/10 collecting feathers, buy your set of gear. Then go to monks or cows depending on bank or levels. Then buy a bunch of trout, then fleshies till like 40/40/40, then moss giants. They're good xp, and a good bit of gold. Tbh I sit here till 60/60/60, then you can do a lot more stuff. Nmz will provide next to 0 income though, so remember that. But it's good xp.

Get combat up and quest first looting drops then when you have decent wealth you can put into skilling

 

I did rock crabs until about 40/40/40 and then went to the flesh crawlers and zombies until 70/70/70. They are semi afk, you need to run out and re-aggro about every 15 minutes.

 

Afk rock crab it for as long as possible, costs nothing and fast Exp

 

I am doing the same thing right now. Getting 1-30 of ATT/Str/Def is a drag. It takes a bit, but once you start hitting 5's and higher, you tend to level faster. Magic is simple at first and ranging is right next to that. They tend to level faster. I would also do as many quests as you can as that will overall boost your total skill level. I got 1-13 magic and cooking off of one quest and so I suggest quest once you get around level 30 combat.

 

If you do the right quests you should end up with like 50/50/50 then you should do rock crabs or experiments till 60/60/60 and after that NMZ all the way

 

If you do the correct quests, You start off at like 45/30/1 so you can skip the drag. You'll also be NMZ ready.

 

Quest up to b gloves, then get on training. Thats what im doing

 

I'd start off by questing a lot and getting half decent combat stats. Work from there. Slayer/Farming (Good money whilst slaying)/General Skills for quests.

 

If you have any plans on maxing it would be efficient to get 83/83/83 thru nmz then do 1 - 99 slayer to achieve 99/99/99 (cannoning on certain tasks), I would also recommend rushing to get barrow gloves as they're well worth it.

 

As a lvl 3 do waterfall quest.

easy 30/30 - should get the ball rolling from there

 

agree with doing waterfall, it'll help you skip the lower levels which are very tedious
