These guys must be fucking godlike in a talking a lure or the people they find are just really dumb or to young to understand that they are getting played.

 

I imagine these type of lures take a few days to talk through. Pretty much befriend them and talk to them for a few days before proceeding to the lure. It pretty much just becomes more of a scam than a lure.

I was trusted with a blue phat after 4 days of talking to someone, white phat after 2. This was before I even had a sythe account so it's not like I had reputation at all, this is not unheard of.

 

I guess but still I would think trusting someone with a blue phat who I d had only met for 4 days is still really risky if you don't have any legitness backing you up (a Sythe or w/e).

 

You would think someone who is young enough to fall for this wouldn't have 1b. Must be just extremely stupid.

 

what's the lure? also shouldn't we take youtube lures with a grain of salt since so many are staged for views. mx799 comes to mind.

That guy had it coming though. Literally everyone in the stream knew what was going to happen.

I don't really mean anyone deserves to lose their money but honestly how stupid can you get.

If its a successful lure they're going to keep it to themselves to maximize profits. It's kind of like a private goldfarming method that people keep to themselves to abuse the shit out of it.

 

It's basicly a lure in which they make you drop inside and to go back in again the guard needs to be able to finish his sentence and than attack you. But one of the other guys is splashing on the guard so he can never finish the sentence and you can't go back in via that door. The other way around takes too long if the trade (while the guy his items were dropped) was stalled.

I think it worked like that, but not sure.

I didn't even realize luring was still a thing. I would think by now it's so common that people don't bother falling for it. There are some lures though that are well thought out and take days to do.

I'm like some of the others in this thread, I just don't understand how this can happen. Why put your stuff at risk in any way? I don't really care who it is telling me it's safe, I won't go into the wildy, or drop my stuff unless it's someone I know in person.
