I'm a huge fan of Razer Deathadders. You certainly have to pay for the brand and they don't last as long as I wish they would but I haven't found something else that feels as good in my hand as that one that isn't completely shit quality.

I'd suggest Steelseries Rival over Steelseries Sensei. I own a Steelseries Sensei mouse, though it's mousewheel doesn't work properly since the beginning. When scrolling up, it scrolls up and then it scrolls down again. On Google I found this is a common problem, which the Rival doesn't have.

I'll probably be going with the Death Adder. Too bad I missed the 50% sale.

Yeah the cost hurts but every cheaper mouse I've tried I've been disappointed with.

How long have they been lasting for you? I've had mine for a little over two years now and it's still holding up fine, even with some pretty heavy use.

I've gone through a few of them. I got my first one back during high school sometime. Then I got another one when the sensor started messing up. I got another one when the scroll wheel on the second one started being a dink. I still have and use the second one with my laptop and I just put up with the scroll wheel not working. I might be missing one but I think that's it so I'm on my third in maybe 5-7 years?

If you don't want any side buttons at all I would go for the: Razer Abyssus, works perfect for me :D . Plus a great benefit is that it's not expensive at all!

I spoke too soon, my mouse has actually started acting up by double clicking when I single click and I can't seem to fix it :( It's getting pretty annoying now so I'll probably be buying another one soon.

Going through three (gaming) mice in 5-7 years isn't that bad though, I would expect one to last around 2-3 years.

My version of the Deathadder doesn't have any side buttons. I didn't know they usually came with them

Razer Abyssus is the best if you don't want buttons. I've been using it for 3 years now, I buy a new one every year. I just bought one 3 weeks ago, the build improved slightly, better side grips. + settings are always adjustable via Razer Synapse. Would definitely recommend it, it's my favorite mouse.
