New Forum Software!

Hey everyone! Today, we are officially announcing that soon we will be shifting forum software from vBulletin to Xenforo. Not to worry, the cosmetic changes will remain minimal. Richard and the team alike have worked double-time to replicate the forums created using vBulletin, so here’s to him for that! The endeavour has been somewhat strenuous, so let’s give a big thank you to everyone involved. The new software will allow for improved features, ranging from slight cosmetic to increased security. Expect a newcomer’s guide to Xenforo in the next coming weeks.​

We were pleased to welcome Video, Giddy, Sportjon22, Hamouze, ASAPgang, THERSG0D, Dunworry & Brendan to the CDT in 2015!

CDT also found some new leaders this year! Congratulations to Superfluous & Darkest Dream!

The Community Development Team aims to better the community side of Sythe. We hold events - seasonal extravaganza's as well as SytheAwards, Member of the Month, SytheMonthly and of course spontaneous events for the sake of it! - but none of that would be possible without the people and businesses on Sythe donating prize pots and participating in events.

So on the behalf of the team, I'd like to thank everyone who's both helped us out or supported us this year. It's a lot of work and stress to make these things happen sometimes, so the encouragement and participation is very much appreciated and makes it all worth it.

2015 was yet another busy year for Sythe. Below is a few updates that you may have missed!

In late February, we saw the introduction of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive discussion forums. Very unsurprising considering the large blackmarket it harbors here on Sythe! Want to get involved? Check it out here!

Similarly, during September and November respectively, Sythe saw the release of the the Darkscape Forums and the Deadman Forums - Both including market and discussion sections! There's already some fantastic discussions and great deals available in these sections, so what're you waiting for? Head over and have a look!

Another exciting feature released was the ability for Sythe Donors to request minor username changes! While currently only allowing very minimal changes, we hope this perk allows members to funk up their profile a little more. Donors can request to have their names changed here. Excitingly, the staff are reviewing ways to allow for more username changes in the future. Watch this space!

Sythe officially celebrated 10 years of being on-line during April - What an achievement for Richard and his website! Those who participated in the event received the Sythe 10th Anniversary Fun-Rank, certainly something to spice up your profile. In a few years, those with the rank will certainly be the envy of the newcomers.

As per usual, your Community Development Team were kept very busy throughout the year. Yet again, they created some great Easter, Halloween and Christmas events, with the total prize money in the thousands this year.

Finally - On a slightly sombre note, we saw the departure of possibly the greatest staff member that ever graced these forums in Roary. His contributions, those easily scene and those performed behind the scenes will continue to be the backbone of this site. His efforts will always be rememembered, and Sythe as a community is thankful for everything you did for us.​
