Got banned by mistake?

I am a clue hunter. I always kill monsters only for clues. yesterday, I found i was banned for Bot busting moderate. I dont know why, because i didnt bot.

When i was at salarin the twisted , its semi-afk. I guess i might be reported by random players for botting. but i didnt bot. i want to know if there has any chance been banned for afk reason and bot history?

ps: my account has a macroing minor ban in 2011-May. is that a reason?

 

Yes.

Your ban could very well be linked to your previous offence. Are you sure you haven't botted, at all, since the last ban? Perhaps they are punishing multiple times for the same offence?

But i didnt answer to a player in game 3 days before while afk, due to that he kept saying i am a bot, and reported . yesterday, i was banned. i dont know if its the reason.

 

Very strange, I'm not sure how you can prove you're innocent? Shame jagex doesn't have a call centre...

However according to Jagex, they don't ban you without SOLID evidence that you are using a third party program (I'm not saying that you did)

I am using OSbuddy, Its legit.

 

I've been 2 day banned once for using ahk something they haven't clarified well but according to every moderator 1:1 input to output is legal, I find it quite bs and over the years have become very disappointed in RS support as a whole.

 

My friend has been banned (macroing major) whilst staking only and using osbuddy, they might be keeping an eye on you (rwt).

 

There have been instances when people have been banned for not answering but that is usually to a Jmod..

 

Yeah the support system is terrible. It would be nice to talk to a actual person sometimes.

 

That plus your previous offense probably got you banned. Sorry to hear about your account.

 

How many accounts are you running on the same PC/IP? If you're running more than logging in more than 4 accounts at once, the chances of getting autobanned for macroing are high.

If you're 100% sure that you're not doing anything illegal, then try tweeting Mod Luna, Jagexsupport and email them too if you can. I had this issue last year and got unbanned within 2 months.

 

Try posting about it on reddit or tweeting, surely you'll find a better answer

My buddy Chem got banned for games of chance once and immediately disputed it. They actually un-banned his account. I couldnt believe it, mostly because we were hosting for ddyce at the time =D

 

Have heard of this happening in the past, also have heard of large goldsellers having accounts banned under "major macroing"

1:1 means one input to one output and you can't use coordinates, i watch streamers use crazy scripts all the time, and ive maxed 1 rs account without an issue and the moment i make a noob skiller i get screwed. I have talked to other people and they have had this happen too. I use this same script on many other high level accounts with no issue and have been writing and using AHK for over a year.
