Ridiculous Slayer XP/HR

Came across this video while I was on Youtube. I find it kind of ridiculous that you can buy 1M+ Slayer XP/HR. I would think about coming back to the game (after a rwt ban on an account with comp cape, rank 300, 1.3B xp in 2012) but it just seems like a waste of effort to climb back to high ranks with the ability to buy promotions like these.

Thoughts?

Saw something similar a while back allowing for like 725k agility exp/hr or something same type of promotion thing.

 

That's kind of a freaking joke, it's insane how quickly the RS3 training is nowadays. I managed to train an account from like 70 mage/hp to 99 mage/99 hp in a few days while legitimately AFKing and doing practically nothing

 

I was pretty upset about this. Some guy in my home world went from 99 to 120 Slayer in just 2-3 days from this promotion. He's a right prick, 1b+ total exp and admits (more like brags) more than half of it was bought from promotions. Sad stuff. The bar is being set higher and higher everyday. Nowadays Max cape means nothing. Even 120s. The only capes that have any value are comp and comp(t), and maybe the new QPMC. Since you actually need to play the game to get those capes.

 

And this is why I quit before this kind of bullshit was released.

The exact reason I quit this game a long time ago. Milking RS3 fora all it's worth.

Do people even still play rs3. I don't see how content like this can even make the game enjoyable at this point smh.

 

Hate this micro purchase bs... It's why I don't PLAY anymore, only host.

Although it is quite OP, there's a minority of players who can and will spend the amount it costs to utilise a promotion like this.
In order to get enough dummies for 120/200m slayer you'd have had to spend literally billions of GP on bonds, when Slayer itself is actually pretty fast anyway and is decent profit.

The rates in the video are also based on level 99 in the skill. Lower levels gain significantly lower xp from promotions like these.

Microtransactions do play a big part on the game but in terms of how many players can and will actually use these to gain masses of xp is well, minor to say the least.

 

Well isn't that cute, I have to Jack of Trades twice a day because skillers can't train slayer like a normal player would. RS3 is losing all of my respect.
